To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Vincent Napoliello. I have Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma which has required multiple bone marrow biopsies. I am writing you today to let you know that my most recent biopsy was just performed with a new device.
This device, the SNARECOIL needle, was developed by my physician, Dr. Alec S. Goldenberg, Director, Hematology Clinic, Bellevue Hospital Center, New York. This new needle has virtually eliminated the pain and discomfort that I have experienced in my previous biopsies.
For the past few years, I have dreaded the bone marrow procedure. I have always approached the appointment with white knuckles and much apprehension. With this new needle, there is no painful pumping or twisting as with the conventional needles, thereby eliminating the fear and pain usually associated with this biopsy.
I would not have any reservations if weekly treatments were needed. I highly recommend this new device to anyone who has to undergo a bone marrow biopsy.
Sincerely,
Vincent A. Napoliello
